Richard T. Ward Biography...
Richard Ward is a graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree. While attending law school, he was one of two applicants chosen to serve as Judicial Extern for the Northern District of New York Bankruptcy Court.
Richard’s legal background has primarily been concentrated in the field of consumer bankruptcy law, but he has also worked in one of central New York’s larger commercial bankruptcy firm, as well as in a Syracuse area general practice firm, handling cases in everything from consumer bankruptcy law, family law, real estate law, elder law, and estate planning.
Richard went to undergraduate school just up the Thruway from Syracuse, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the State University of New York Institute of Technology in Utica, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
He also has an A.S. degree in engineering, and has worked as a design engineer for the tool and die industry. He is a member the Central New York Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, and the Northern District of New York Federal Bar Association.
In addition to helping you throughout the bankruptcy process, Richard’s primary goal is to help each client escape the pressures of unmanageable debt, and to help each person understand the legal process and make the transition to a fresh financial start as seamless and as stress free as possible.
